ABOUT TAALWIZARD

Taal Wizard is an object-oriented software tool designed for creating and playing rhythmic patterns of
Indian music. It is designed for students of Indian drums, who can use it as a repository for their
rhythmic patterns, as well as a powerful tool for experiencing new combinations and permutations of
these patterns into different tempos. Other music students, like sitar players, can just use the included
rhythmic cycles as accompaniment, much as a tabla machine, but with a far more visual interface.

HOW TO INSTALL IT

To install this software, you must extract files into your C: drive. The extraction process will thus create
a TaalWizard directory into Program Files, and 2 directories containing wave samples into TaalWizard.
You may decide to install the package elsewhere, but you will have to change the paths of the wave samples in the provided
TaalWizard Bases (.twb files).

PROGRAM STATUS

This program is a freely distributable demo for evaluation. You can play the given patterns but will not
be able to create new ones, and you will not be able to loop through a given pattern. If you wish to add
these 2 features, you will have to subscribe at the TaalWizard web site or through the provided order
form.
